Taman vs. kebun

Taman = park or garden

Kebun = orchard or farm

They can be differentiated based on context.

1a. Di depan rumah saya ada sebuah taman (garden).

1b.  Di tepi flat saya ada sebuah taman (park)

2a. Di Lin Chu Kang ada kebun sayur (vegetable farm)

2b. Di Kranji ada kebun pisang (banana orchard)
