Today’s Q

What’s the difference between mau and mahu?

Mahu = want

mau = want in spoken with [h] dropped

Saya mahu makan nasi goreng ini. Awak hendak juga?

hendak = want (with more conviction)

mau is also part of harimau (tiger) and Limau (orange).
